There are five different Clarocet formulations that are advertised to address different needs and functions of the body. Clarocet NRI is for “immediate response”; Clarocet ERT is suggested to be used for those consumers who want “extended release”; Clarocet CS is for “cognitive support”; Clarocet PM is the nighttime formula and Clarocet Junior is said to “gentle and mild” enough for children.

All the formulations contain separate formulations, though do include many similar ingredients within almost all products.

The most active ingredient in almost all five supplements is St. Johns Wort which experienced a recent boost in popularity after it became the trendy supplement for a time. This ingredient is purported to balance moods while increasing feelings of relaxation. Though, it has also been reported to cause potential side effects, which include sensitivity to the sun, sexual dysfunction and even headaches.

It does not appear that any of these ingredients include lithium, which in its natural form, not synthetic, can be quite successful in balancing moods but without causing the adverse side effects.

The Clarocet product line does come with its own website. Though, it may be hard to for consumers to navigate through due to the multiple formulations displayed. The explanation for the use of each product is lumped onto one web page, and does not organize the information in an efficient manner.

While this website does post testimonials it does not post enough to clearly show the success rate of these supplements. Furthermore, each testimonial does not clearly state which product it is reviewing and is ultimately unhelpful.

As a whole, the five different types of supplements may be appealing to some consumers who have very specified needs out of their supplement. However, other consumers may find it confusing to determine what product will suit them best and may be more pleased with a brand that comes in a single formulation.

The contained ingredients within the Clarocet products are fairly universal and at times even “trendy”. Though, they have also been shown to potentially cause adverse side effects for some, and consumers may be more interested in using a product that is less likely to generate these potentially negative effects.
